How many people can stay in the condominiums?

The Colina and Bella Vista condominiums generally have a king size bed in the Master bedroom and two twin beds in the other rooms. Therefore a two bedroom has a total of 3 beds and sleeps 3-4 and a three bedroom has 5 beds and sleeps 5-6 guests. Rollaway beds are available on request for an additional guest. Call us with special requests.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in time is 2pm. Check out time is 12 Noon. Early check in and late check out can be arranged when available with advance notice and approval.

How far is the nearest town?

The area of Playa Herradura that surrounds the resort is a simple “Tico Community”. Nearby (10 minutes) Playa Jaco is one of Costa Rica’s largest beach communities. There are over 40 restaurants, bars, banks, 15,000 sq ft super market and tourist shopping.

Can I use the Marriott Hotel facilities when I am staying in the adjacent
homes and condominiums?

The Hotel facilities such as the restaurants, bars, casino, golf course (rental clubs available), aquatics rentals, spa services, gift shop and room service are all available. The new Los Suenos Beach Club and oversized pool are exclusive to our guests and the hotel pool is reserved for Hotel guests.

How far is the drive from the airport?

The airport is 1hr 45 min from Los Suenos Resort. We recommend Ruiz Transportation which services up to 8-passengers in their safe and dependable Toyota Vans. Rental Cars are available near the airport or after you arrive in Jaco. We suggest using the van service when arriving at night. Taxis are always available from the resort.

What is there to do?

The 1,100 acres within the resort most of which is protected rain forest that contains an abundance of interesting flora and fauna. For a list of activities click here.

What do I need to bring?

A valid passport (US Citizens do not require a Visa) and current drivers license (if driving). Major Credit Cards (Visa is best) and Travelers Checks are accepted nearly everywhere. Colones (Costa Rica currency) can be exchanged at the current rate and US Dollars are accepted everywhere as well. A big hat, sun block, comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a camera are a good idea. There are no vaccinations or medical concerns and the water is safe to drink.
